Arranging HSBC Life Protection online

HSBC Life Protection and HSBC Critical Illness cover are available from some of the leading price comparison websites, which works well for customers who know what they want. If you are unsure and need financial advice, then please check if the site you have chosen offers this service.

Online sites will usually take you through these simple steps:

STEP 1: Choose how much life insurance and critical illness protection you need. For life insurance it should be enough to cover theliving expenses of your dependents. For critical illness, a lump sum to help you through an illness.

STEP 2: Obtain your quote

Follow the prompts for the cover level chosen.

STEP 3: Make an application

The quote meets with your approval. You will be asked a number of health and lifestyle questions. There will be no need for a doctor’s report or medical examinations and you’ll receive a decision in real time.

STEP 4: Confirmation and documents

A confirmation will be emailed to you and you will be invited to register for HSBC Access, your dedicated online portal where you will find your policy documents
